Terms and conditions for travel agencies
Small groups (FITs, 1-10 pax)
High and peak season
Bookings
30 % deposit to be paid upon booking. If the deposit is not received by the due date, Gáldu Hotel & Spa reserves the right to cancel the reservation without prior notice, in accordance with our booking policies.
The deposit invoice (30%) will be issued within 14 days of booking confirmation. The remaining balance is to
be paid 60 days before arrival.
For bookings with less than 60 days to arrival, the full payment is to be paid at the time of reservation.
Minimum stay 2 nights during high season (1.12.-14.12.2025 & 7.1.-15.3.2026).
Minimum stay 3 nights during peak season (15.12.2025-6.1.2026).
Cancellations
For cancellation made at least 60 days before arrival, cancellation fee is 50€ (office fee).
Cancellation fee is 50 % of the total booking when the cancellation is made 60–30 days before arrival.
Cancellation fee is 100 % of the total booking when the cancellation is made less than 30 days before arrival.
All cancellations or changes need to be completed by email to contact@galdu.fi.
Large groups (10+ pax)

Online bookings (website or OTA-channels)
All bookings will be fully charged when completing the booking. Received 100% payment will confirm your booking.
Minimum stay 2 nights during peak season (1.12.-14.12.2025 & 7.1.-15.3.2026).
Minimum stay 3 nights during high season (15.12.2025-6.1.2026).
Cancellation and changes to bookings during high season and peak season
All accommodation bookings made via our website can be cancelled or changed 30 days prior to arrival. Cancellation fee is 50€ (office fee). If cancellation is made less than 30 days prior to arrival, 100% of the value of the booking will be charged. No refund is possible for the guest.
Cancellation and changes to bookings during other seasons
All accommodation bookings made via our website can be cancelled or changed 14 days prior to arrival. Cancellation fee is 50€ (office fee). If cancellation is made less than 14 days prior to arrival, 100% of the value of the booking will be charged. No refund is possible for the guest.
If the reservation is cancelled within the free cancellation period, the amount paid will be refunded within 14 days after the cancellation was submitted, less the office fee.
If the cancellation is submitted after the free cancellation period or the guest does not show up at all, the property will charge 100% cancellation fee.

These terms are applicable for online bookings made directly through our website. When using a third-party booking channel, please check the applied terms from the channel used.
Other important information
Applies to both travel agencies and individuals
We highly recommend that our guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance, including cancellation coverage, for the duration of their trip. Gáldu Hotel & Spa is not responsible for any booking cancellations due to medical conditions or other personal reasons. We advise our guests to ensure their insurance policy covers such eventualities.
In the unlikely event that Gáldu Hotel & Spa is unable to provide the agreed services due to force majeure (e.g., natural disaster, war, fire, strike, water damage), guests will receive a full refund for any payments made, or the option to reschedule their stay at a mutually convenient time.
Travel Packages and Third-Party Services
- When Gáldu provides accommodation as part of a travel package sold by a third-party tour operator, all responsibility for the overall package, including compliance with applicable package travel regulations and required financial guarantees, rests with the tour operator. Gáldu’s liability is limited to the accommodation services we provide. The tour operator indemnifies Gáldu against any claims related to the package as a whole.
Health and Safety Notice
- For safety reasons, pregnant women are not permitted to participate in extreme activities such as snowmobiling and husky sledding. We kindly ask all guests to inform us of any health conditions prior to booking.
